Hey everyone! My brand new EP just came out on Adapted Records! Check it out, its a 3 track EP with two originals and one remix from Mustard Tiger.

Laurentian Plateau EP was written as a form of auditory commentary on where I live; Winnipeg, Manitoba. The title track Laurentian Plateau is named after the region otherwise known as the Canadian Shield, which extends into the eastern most part of Manitoba. It has an Eastern flair (Middle Eastern east, not eastern Manitoba east :p ) and a slant towards the elegance of wilderness. Winnipeg Handshake, on the other hand, embodies the urban grittiness that is Winnipeg, with basslines dirtier than Salter St. The term Winnipeg Handshake also refers to the unique local custom of stabbing someone with a beer bottle as a sign of greeting. The more you know! The release is topped off with an incredible remix of Winnipeg Handshake by Australian artist Mustard Tiger.

UPDATE:

Laurentian Plateau hit #23 on the Glitch Hop Beatport Top 100 Charts!

Winnipeg Handshake hit #70 on the Glitch Hop Beatport Top 100 Charts!

The Leaurentian Plateau EP was also a Featured New Release on Beatport’s Glitch Hop Section!
